PACE Monitoring Committee to Discuss Armenia

On the agenda at the December 17th session of the Monitoring Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe to be held in Paris, will be a discussion of the report and draft resolution concerning the fulfillment of Resolutions 1609 and 1620 whic focus on the functioning of democratic institutions in Armenia. The issue will be discussed on the basis of conclusions resulting from the November visit to Armenia of Commissioner for Human Rights, Thomas Hammarberg.
