On January 13, the Press Division of the RMK President's Office reported that President Bako Sahakyan met with several newly appointed military unit commanders. Also on hand was the RMK Defense Minister, Movses Hakopyan. At the meeting the issue of the military preparedness of the troops was discussed in addition to raising the defense capabilities of the units. The top military commander noted that such meetings would take place periodically.
