Newly-elected members of the ROA National Academy of Sciences have been officially invited to attend the Academy's 2009 annual general meeting to be held on April 21-23. Armenia's Minister of the Diaspora, Hranush Hakobyan, attended the top-level session of the Academy's leadership that passed the decision to hold the April meeting and to allow for the participation of Armenian scientists from abroad. In addition to the presentation of official papers by the diasporan scientists, the April conclave is expected to review possible areas of cooperation between the two scientific communities.
