On January 13, "Hayastan-All Armenia Fund" Director Ara Vardanyan, accompanied by Sarkis Kotanjyan, Director of the Fund's USA Western Office, met with RMK President Bako Sahakyan and Prime Minister Arayik Harutyunyan in Stepanakert. Also attending the meeting was RMK Urban Development Minister Anahit Vardanyan. The major topic of discussion was the naming of Valery Ghazaryan to head the Fund's new office in Stepanakert that will open in a month's time. Mr. Ghazaryan, a builder by profession, was the president of the RMK's first convened Supreme Council's permanent committee and member of the country's Supreme Council presidium.He later worked in various departments within the Ministry of Urban Development. Most recently he has headed the Alfa Leader private construction firm.
