Today, at a press conference held at the "Hayatsk Club", Levon Zurabyan, coordinator for the opposition Armenian National Congress (HAK), stated that, "No one has more brillantly served to preserve the current Armenian regime than Davit Harutyunyan." Mr. Zurabyan was commenting on charges recently levied against the Armenian PACE delegation, headed by Mr. Harutyunyan. Mr. Zurabyan noted that such charges against the delegation were absurd given that Mr. Harutyunyan spared no effort in order for the regime to adopt beneficial courses of action. "It's another matter that the delegation, along with its leader, hasn't raised its fingers to institute pro-Armenian changes into the drafts regarding Karabakh." According to the HAK representative, this leads one to believe that the Armenian authorities are ready to sacrifice all in the Karabakh issue in order to save their skin.
