At a government session held today, presided over by Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, a program to develop small-scale hydroelectric power plants was given the green light. It was decided to take the issue under review and to issue licenses for the construction of the power plants and to allocate water usage permits.Details of the program to spur the creation of such power plants will be posted on the website of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources so that potential investors can access the necessary information freely.
