After organizing a series of discussions in Yerevan, the activities of the "Black Sea Basin Nations Trans-Border Cooperation" program were introduced to the residents of Gyumri. Given that the 17 million Euro program is intended to assist the non-profit sector, it was mostly representatives of various NGO's that attended yesterday's meeting. The objective of the program is to insure equitable conditions for development of the social, educational and cultural organizations in European Union member nations. Vahe Danielyan, Armenia's Deputy Minister of the Economy, encouraged participants to, "Grab hold of the maximum amount of skills you can in order to become as active as you can for the glory of our country's devvelopment."
