Prosecutor Generals of Russia, Armenia Sign Cooperation Memo
Today, the Prosecutor Generals of Armenia and Russia Aghvan Hovsepyan and Yuri Chayka signed a Memorandum of Cooperation for 2009-2011. The top Russian prosecutor arrived in Armenia the other day for a working visit.
During the meeting Yuri Chayka stated that, "Chauvinism and radicalism really exist against Armenians in Russia. We see it and we are aware of it. Two years ago we opened a special department at the Prosecutor General’s Office, and the issue is at the focus of the President’s attention. We are doing a great work in that direction," Chayka said.
