RA Human Rights Defender Karen Andreasyan says that he is concerned with the on-going process dealing with the dismantling of certain street stalls and kiosks in Yerevan and has directed his office to investigate the matter.

Upon receiving a phone call informing them that an attempt was being made to tear down several kiosks at the intersection of Komitas and Papazyan Streets, staffers at the Human Rights Defender's office went to the scene and recorded details of what was taking place.

Mr. Andreasyan will present his conclusions on August 16.
