Preparations are already underway in Karabakh to celebrate the 17th anniversary of the liberation of Shushi and Victory Day. At a governement session held yesterday, the final details for the events were discussed and passed and NKR Defense Minister Movses Hakobyan was named to head the organizing committee. According to the adopted agenda, the celebrations will kick off on May 5 in various regions of the country, military bases and educational institutions. According to tradition a celebratory concert will take place in Stepanakert's central Renaissance Square followed by a fireworks display.
