Yesterday NKR President Bako Sahakyan met with a delegation lead by Artyom Movsisyan, Head of the RoA Department of Civil Aviation. The delegation also included representatives of architectural and construction organizations. Issues related to the reopening of the Stepanakert airport were discussed. President Sahakyan expressed satisfaction that the first stage of the airport's reopening had been successfully completed and noted that the second stage must be executed at the same tempo and that the construction of a passenger facility meeting international standards must be realized within the allotted time frame. The preparation of a suitable work force received special attention. President Sahakyan stressed that the NKR government would do all in its power to see that such a strategically imprtant project bears fruition.
