According to Armen Movsissyan, RoA Minister for Energy and Natural Resources, negotiations are continuing with the management and owners of Deno Gold regarding the continued operation of its Kapan plant. "A plan has been drafted and sent to Deno's owners for review. There will be no job cuts and the plant will operate for another month without changes. During this time, future alternatives will be studied and I am sure that Kapan residents will have work in the future. Deno Gold's owners are ready to invest," claimed Minister Movsissyan.
