The trial of the "March 1st Seven" was scheduled to continue today at the Kentron and Nork-Marsh Court of First Instance. However, the defense lawyers boycotted the session, claiming ongoing irregularities and other legal infringements of court procedure. Today, the lawyers issued a public statement to that effect which describes these infractions by the court and the presiding judge in detail. At today’s trial session, Judge Martirosyan declared a thirty minute recess for the court to come up with a decision regarding the continuation of the case. Upon returning to the bench, Judge Martirosyan sanctioned the attorney for showing disrespect towards the court and petitioned the Council of Advocates to review the conduct of the defense team lawyers. The trial was then postponed till March 23 at 12:00 pm.
