The government today reconfirmed its decision that no new TV and radio frequencies will be provided to any company by January 20, 2010. Deputy Minister of Economy Vahe Danielyan said the objective is to ensure an equal field for all companies. Minister Danielyan stated, "We find that such a move doesn't correspond with the plan of the RoA government as certified by the National Assembly according to which radio and TV stations must digitalize their broadcasts."
