According to RoA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, the government has given its consent to an agreement made by RoA Foreign Affairs Minister Edward Nalbandian between Armenia and the United States that would allow for the opening of an international schools in Armenia. FM Nalbandian noted that, "The aim is to organize the instruction of English according to international standards, allowing the children of the diplomatic corps to continue their education." He also suggested that any free space in the school be alloted to those who wish to receive an education based on a U.S. cirriculm. Prime Minister Sargsyan stated that the ministerial committeee, after having studied the matter, decided that only the children of foreign nationals would be allowed to attend classes.
