The Prosperous Armenia Party, headed by businessman Gagik Tzaroukyan, filed registration papers today with the RoA Central Election Commission for the upcoming May Yerevan mayoral election. The PAP's press secretary, Tatev Ohanyan, has reported that the party's ticket is comprised of 122 individuals, headed by Harutyun Kushkyan, currently serving as Armenia's Minister of Healthcare. Mkhitar Mnastsakanyan will occupy second place on the ticket, followed by Margarita Matevosyan. Commenting on the ticket, PAP National Assembly Deputy Nayra Zohrabyan stated at a press briefing that, "The PAP will never take part in predetermined games or processes or in bogus actions. The PAP will be participating in the elections with a serious investment of resources and that the party is in it to win."
