The Akhaltskha Cultural Youth Center will once again stage a march to commemorate the 1915 Armenian Genocide.

Carrying lit torches and candles, marchers will make their way from the Center on April 23 at 7:30pm towards the stone cross Genocide memorial. A political protest event has been announced by the Akhaltskha Rebirth website. On Easter Sunday, after services at St. Gregory the Illuminator Church residents carrying banners and placards will walk to the memorial for a requiem service.
