At 8:30 pm last night the Malatya police department received an anonymous call stating that a baby had been left on the ninth floor of an apartment complex in the district. When officers arrived on the scene they found a 3-4 day-old girl placed in a paper basket. The new-born showed no external wounds of any kind but was immediately taken to hospital for examination.
