At today's session of the criminal case against Alexander Arzumanyan and Suren Sirunyan, the two defendants proclaimed that they were innocent of the charges as noted in the prosecution's inndictment. The judge threw out the motion of Suren Sirunyan's lawyer Varduhi Elbakyan that her client be free on bail before the actual start of the trial proceedings. The court then handed down its ruling stating that witnesses would first be called to testify followed by cross-examination of the defendants, followed by a review of expert testimony. The next trial date was scheduled for April 15 at 11:30 am during which the court will hear witnes testimony.
