Today, Vahan Hovhannisyan, who heads the ARF parliamentary faction, declared in the national assembly that Armen Rustamyan would continue to hold the post of president of the RoA National Assembly's Permanent Committee on Foreign Affairs and that Artur Aghabekyan would continue to serve as president of the National Assembly's Permanent Committee on National Security and Internal Affairs. Commenting on the decision of the ARF  to hold on to these important legislative posts, Mr. Hovhannisyan stated, "As part of the opposition, we support and will struggle in order that the opposition becomes a mores serious force in terms of counterbalance and that it garners true leverage mechanisms, while at the same time working with the government. We accept the proposal of the coalition and the members of our parliamentary faction will continue in their posts as committee heads."
