Today, the streets of Stepanakert were more crowded with people than usual from early morning on. Local residents had come outside to wish congratulate each other on this triple holiday occasion - Great Patriotic War Victory Day, NKR Defense Forces Day and the 17th Anniversary of the Liberation of Shushi. At the Stepanaket Memorial Complex, high ranking delegates from the NKR and the RoA, headed by the presidents of the two republics, passed by to pay their respects to those who had served and fallen in these conflicts. Afterwards they travelled to Shushi to lay flowers at the pedestal of the Tank Memorial and the Vazgen Sargsyan Memorial Statue. The delegations later travelled to the Saint Ghazanchetsots Church. This evening a festive concert topped off with a fireworks display will take place in Stepanaket's Renaissance Square. At the Officers' Club, a dinner reception for NKR President Bako Sahakyan will be held as well
