According to a police statement just released, at noon today 28 year-old A. Avagyan notified the Artashat Police Department and reported that a half hour earlier Hovhannes Ghazaryan, the Artashat Branch Manager of "HayRusGazArd" and his brother Mkrtich Ghazaryan, along with some other unidentified individuals, started to curde and beat himself and some friends seated in the courtroom at the Ararat and Vayots Dzor District Court. Later in the evening the police searched the apartment of H. Meliksetyan and found a 16 millimeter dual barrel shotgun which was seized and sent to forensics. A similar unregistered weapon was found in the apartment of V. Amirzadyan, along with other weapons paraphernalia.. The police say they are now trying to locate both Ghazaryan brothers and the others involved in the beating incident.
