Stepan Sarafyan of the "Heritage Party" reports that the party has already registered three cases of election violations. At 8:15 this morning at the 7/8 polling station, Gor Misakyan, an election committee member appointed by the courts department ordered Gagik Sargsyan, a member of the Heritage Party committee, and HAK proxy Serzhik Mkrtchyan, to leave the site. When the two refused, Mr. Misakyan started to beat them. At around 2:00 pm, Heritage Party member Mkhitar Majaryan was beaten at the 7/18 polling station by other members of the local elections committee. Mr. Majaryan was forced to leave the site. Mr. Sarafyan also stated that around 9:30 am HAK proxy Arman Barkhoudaryan left the 7/18 polling station after being approached by an unidentified individual and having a conversation with him. "It was evidently a case of pressure being brought to bear. Afterwards, HAK replaced its proxy,” the Heritage Party member stated. The third violation involved the assault against reporters.
