Yesterday, RoA President Serzh Sargsyan consulted with representatives of the country's law enforcement departments regarding the proposal to declare a general amnesty. According to the presidential website, President Sargsyan directed the various department heads to study the legal processes necessary to enact such an amnesty and to come up with suitable proposals by June 15. He also advised his staff to summarize the sugggestions already submitted by various political groups and leaders and the Public Council.
