Yesterday, the Advocacy and Assistance Reception Center in the town of Ararat was officially opened. The project was supported by the Mobilizing Action against Corruption (MAAC) Activity of USAID, which is implemented by the Armenian Young Lawyers Association (AYLA). In his remarks Mr. Karen Zadoyan, President of the AYLA noted the importance of establishing the AAC in Ararat Marz and said that the center will aim to promote legal awareness, decrease the risk of corruption, and will combat the evil looming beneath corrupt activity in Ararat Marz. Before inviting the guests to the center’s opening reception, Mr. Zadoyan familiarized the guests with the activities of the center and explained its intended role within the local community.
