Late last night, a car accident took the life of Gegham Ghandelyan and Aram Miskaryan, two well-known Armenian TV stars appearing in the popular series "Vorogayt". Mr. Ghandilyan, 35, played the character of "Gokor" and 36 year-old Mr. Miskaryan that of "Garik".

Police report that the car was speeding along the Armavir-Etchmiadzin road when it struck a tree and flipped over in a ditch. The time of the deadly accident was put at between 11:00 and 11:30 p.m.

Also in the car at the time of the accident was Edgar Ter-Abrahamyan, the serial's cameraman. He was seriously injured at taken to the Etchmiadzin Hospital. Mr. Ter-Abrahamyan was operated on but remains in critical condition.
