Delayed Start to Kapan Government Session
The RoA government's session scheduled for today in Kapan, the regional center of Syunik, started at 11:00 am, after a one hour delay.
Prime Minster Tigran Sargsyan said the session turned a new page in the social and political life of Syunik and that the delegation's visit has afforded top government official to familiarize themselves with the day to day issues faced by area residents.
Syunik Regional Administrator Suren Khachatryan presented a list of the top priority problems facing the region by sector.
After the session ended, it appeared that no officials stayed around to listen to the grievances of local residents, something that the prime minister had promised.
Later today, PM Sargsyan will head a delegation to the Agarak Copper-Molybdenum Plant which received a $14 million loan from the government
