It appears that Davit Hakobyan, President of Armenia's Marxist Party, is grooming himself as an independent candidate in the nest presidential election. We asked the presidential hopeful how he planned to raise the $50,000 needed to run a credible campaign he replied, "I have received no French backing to date nor am I dependent on any oligarch. When the time comes, a benefactor will appear just like Engels came to the rescue of Karl Marx and financed the publication of "Das Kapital". If the constitution allows for such sponsorship one will be found. But that is secondary. What is important is that I am free and dependent on no one." The Marxist orator claims that he has already obtained $50,000 hundreds of times over. "Just the terminology alone used about me in the press "national tribunal" and "loveable Nazi" are proof of my pan-national titles."
