Former RoA Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanian was elected a member of the Anelik Bank advisory board during a July 4 shareholders' meeting. Recently, 51% of Anelik's shares were purchased by Lebanon's Credit Bank. According to Anelik Board President Samvel Jzmachian, this will allow the bank to increase its capital to $15 billion which will place it in the top five banks in Armenia in terms of capital reserves.
