Foreign Ministry Antics? What Reporters Did FM Nalbandian Actually Meet with in Stepanakert?

Today, "Hetq" contacted the RoA Ministry of Foreign Affairs to see why questions posed to FM Edward Nalbandian by reporters while in Stepanakert yesterday were switched in an official statement that was subsequently issued. Our questions were answered by Tigran Balayan, the Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Mr. Balayan, "Hetq's" reporter in Stepanakert has a taped copy of the questions that were directed to Foreign Minister Nalbandian. They do not correspond to those appearing in the official statement released by the ministry. Can you explain this? Are you sure that the Minister Nalbandian only met with the reporters in question? In that case, shouldn't you issue a statement that the minister met with two groups of reporters? No, I see no need since we wrote that there was a briefing with reporters. These reporters you mention, what news services do they represent? They are reporters. When and where did this briefing take place? No...Right now I can't remember exactly when. How do you explain the fact that the minister met with two separate groups of reporters on the same day? He met and spoke with them. Other reporters arrived and he answered their questions as well. But approaching the minister and having a scheduled meeting are two different things. There was a meeting with reporters at the presidential office and somewhere else. Exactly where? In Stepanakert. If there was a second meeting with the press why was it that our reporter never participated? You should ask you reporter why they were never invited. "Hetq's" reporter in Stepanakert, Anahit Danielyan, states that after meeting with the press Foreign Minister Nalbandian went to lunch and returned to Yerevan afterwards. As to the second "mystery" meeting with the press, neither Danielyan nor the other reporters were ever informed.
