Inmates at "Artik" Get Dirty Drinking Water

According to the 2008 report issued by the Board on Public Monitoring of Penitentiary System under the Ministry of Justice, the water provided to inmates at the "Artik" correctional facility is chock full of bacteria and larvae. It is also mixed with sand particles. The Ministry of Justice says that it presented the problem to the government back in May of last year. The report, issued a few days ago, makes no mention of any solution to the unfit water supply. The public monitors alo report that inmates complained about the quality of their meals, especially butter that has gone bad. The administration at "Artik" agreed that large quantities of butter had gone bad in storage.
