The General Prosecutor’s Division in the Defense of State Interests has launched a criminal case regarding the embezzlement of funds during the restoration of the Arin-Berd complex located in the Erebuni Historical-Archeological SNOC. During a review of the restoration work carried out by the "Aragatzotn Ltd" firm according to the work contract it signed with the RoA Ministry of Culture, it became clear that Mr. L Ghukasyan, the director of the company from August to November 2008, made a number of false accounting statements. As a result of these misrepresentations, Mr. Ghukasyan was able to embezzle an amount totaling 1.196 million AMD in overrun expenditures from the Ministry of Culture
