Vardan Khachatryan - Raffi Hovhannisyan Knew of the Secret Talks
Expelled Heritage Party MP Vardan Khachatryan stated today that, "Those posts that I held in the administration permitted me to negotiate with those political forces. Raffi Hovhannisyan was aware of those negotiations but not all information was made accessible to all."MP Khachatryan was recently expelled from the Heritage Party by the administrative board on charges that he attended the meetings of other political forces with the consent of the board, that he attempted to sabotage the normal working of the Heritage administrative board and that he was conducting personal negotiations with those forces.
Responding to a question posed by "Hetq", MP Khachatryan said that he hadn’t yet considered whether he would register as a member of the HAK (Armenian National Congress). "I must first consider whether my views and that of HAK dovetail."
Another expelled party member, Zoya Tadevosyan, had told "Hetq" that the Heritage board had reprimanded her on numerous occasions for being "overly vociferous in her opposition". Mr. Khachatryan confessed that such charges had never been levelled at him by the party’s board.
