Book on Armenian Futurism Hits Bookstores

Sarkis Khachents and Printinfo publishing house have jointly issued the work "Armenian Futurism" by Paris-based writer and critique Grigor Bldyan. The 600 page book focuses on the three centers of Armenian literary futurism – Bolis (Hrant Nazarian), Tiflis (Kara Darvish) and Yerevan (Charents, Vshtuni and Abov), The work examines the relationship between Armenian futurism with European sources and the Russian movement as well as Western and Eastern Armenian writers who prepared the groundwork of futurism (Varouzhan, Teryan). The work is currently available in Yerevan bookstores as well as the Printinfo publishing house (Tel. 37410-46-53-80
