"H2" TV Promises to Display Correct Map of Artsakh

In response to a campaign launched by a group of civic organizations, Armenia's "H2" TV station has promised to show the correct map of the Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh during its broadcasts by the end of September.

A number of governmental departments and even ministries (Agriculture, etc) still show the Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh as comprised of the Nagorno-Karabakh Autonomous Oblast of the former Soviet Union.

These maps do not include territories liberated from Azerbaijani rule during the Artsakh war of liberation, even thought the Artsakh Constitution does recognize them as part and parcel of the new republic.

Armenia has yet to officially recognize the Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh.
