The ARF reports that its request to stage a demonstration in downtown Yerevan on October 16 has been denied by the Yerevan Mayor’s Office. The reason given is that another event is scheduled to take place on the same day, at the same time, and at the same location. The permit request for a demonstration, to take place at 6 p.m. at the Charles Aznavour Square in the vicinity of Kino Moscow, was made on October 9.
