Artsakh Political Parties Express Concerns Re: Armenia-Turkey Talks
According to our sources, representatives of political parties in Artsakh, at the initiative of the ARF, assembled at the party’s offices in Stepanakert to discuss the possible ramifications of the current normalization stage of Armenian-Turkish relations on the Karabakh conflict settlement.
The political representatives expressed their concerns that diplomatic negotiations now underway between Yerevan and Ankara might have negative consequences for a Karabakh settlement. The meeting took place behind closed doors but we were told that such discussions would continue, possibly in a more public format.
"Hetq" attempted to get more details of the closed-door meeting from ARF Artsakh Central Committee member Davit Ishkhanyan. He refused to comment.
