"New Times" Party Supports Pashinyan Election Bid

On November 5, the board of the "Nor Zhamanak" (New Times) Party decided to support the candidacy of Nikol Pashinyan for the 10th district parliamentary seat in the upcoming January 19 run-off election. The party’s decision to support jailed opposition activist Nikol Pashinyan is based on the belief that by throwing its weight behind Pashinyan it will hasten the day when he is freed from "the claws of this criminal regime."
