Man Knifed to Death in Mashtots Avenue Passageway

Yesterday, at 12:50 pm, a body was reported to have been spotted in an guttered up store in an underground passage opposite Building 1 on Mashtots Avenue. Police arrived and after an investigation, discovered that the body with knife wounds to the belly, was that of Edward Mirzoyan, a resident of Spitak , now living in Yerevan. Police also report that the victim was murdered the previous day by Tigran Gevorgyan, a drifter with no permanent residence and a police record, during an argument at the store. Mr. Gevorgyan has been arrested and a criminal investigation is underway.
