Bank Fraud Reported at VTB Stepanakert Branch
According to a statement by the NKR Police Department, an investigation has revealed that Sharmagh Grigoryan, the former chief accountant of the Stepanakert Branch of the VTB’s "Hayastanbank", and Valya Grigoryan, former Director of Client Services at the same branch, defrauded several bank customers out of their cash.
The investigation revealed that Sharmagh Grigoryan formerly worked at the Stepanakert branches of "Armecobank" and Ameribank" as well. The police are urging those individuals who believe to have been scammed by these two individuals to report the circumstances to the police.
