The initiative group We are in Charge of our City has organized a Facebook online survey on the topic of buildings in Yerevan which damage the environment.

Based on the preliminary results of the voting 700 people have taken part and the most anti-environmental piece of construction is considered to be Northern Avenue (233 votes) with its abundance of concrete and lack of greenery.

Second place was given to the building occupying the student's park (90 votes) which disturbs the peace at the park, the Observatory and the National Library.

The large complex being built at the intersection of Tumanyan street and the Ring Park (78 votes) was at third place, followed by the houses being built instead of the forest area surrounding the Monument, the shops being built in the green area on Abovyan street, the Nushikyan building on Teryan street and others.

The objective of the survey is to raise awareness among residents and help form public opinion.
