Larisa Alaverdyan, Secretary of the Heritage Party parliamentary faction, has proposed to Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan that the days of January 13-19, 2010, be set aside to commemorate the 20^th anniversary of the pogroms against Armenians in Baku. MP Alaverdyan states that PM Sargsyan replied that he would wait until the parliament presented a package of suggestions on the matter. The MP stated that she had prepared a set of proposals, in conjunction with a number of NGO’s, ready for review.
