Pashinyan's Campaign HQ Says His Whereabouts are Unknown

Nikol Pashinyan’s campaign headquarters declared today that they haven’t been able to verify the whereabouts of the jailed editor of "Haykakan Zhamanak". Staff at the headquarters claim that this is a calculated move on the part of the government given that Mr. Pashinyan’s signature is needed on documents to be presented to the Constitutional Court appealing the results of the recent parliamentary by-election in which Pashinyan ran as a candidate. The deadline for filing an appeal is today. The campaign headquarters is demanding that Pashinyan’s lawyer be allowed to visit his client to obtain the required signatures. Staffers say that they were told that Pashinyan had been transferred to the Nubarashen Penitentiary.
