Agreement to produce a documentary film about the Armenian community in Iran was reached during a meeting between the RoA Minister for Diaspora Affairs, Hranush Hakobyan, and Mehdi Mostafavi, President of Iran’s Cultural and Islamic Contacts Organization and a presidential advisor. The Iranian delegation had travelled to Yerevan to take part in commemorations marking the 31 anniversary of the Iranian revolution. Discussions also centered on the need to publish Armenian textbooks in Iran and for Persian language courses to start in several public schools in Armenia.
