"Aspekt", a Dutch publishing house has just released Anthonie Holslag's  "In het gesteente van Ararat" (On the Stones of Ararat", a work which delves into the causes and consequences of the 1915 Armenian Genocide. The author has used archival material, eye-witness accounts and interviews as reference. Holslag talks about the life and work of Arshile Gorky, Armenian collective consciousness and the formation of the Armenian diaspora.
