Armenia’s Ambassador to Georgia, Hovhannes Manoukyan, has met with Vatican Ambassador to Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan, Claudio Guggeretti. The two officials discussed freedom of religion in Georgia and the issue of obtaining legal status for churches belonging to traditional church faiths. Also present at the meeting was Bishop Vazgen Mirzakhanyan, Primate of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Georgia.
