Yerevan Gets New Subway Cars

Yerevan metro riders are in for a treat. A new subway is now riding the underground rails in Armenia’s capital.

The new cars were put into service on the eve of celebrations marking Armenia’s 20th anniversary of independence and 30th anniversary of the Yerevan Metropolitan.

One of the first passengers on the computer programmed driven cars was Taron Margaryan, First Deputy Mayor of Yerevan.
