Public Council President Intervenes on Behalf of Citizen Caught in Judicial Web

Vazgen Manukyan, President of Armenia’s Public Council has called upon head of the RoA President’s Control Services Hovhannes Hovsepyan, to review the case of Paruyr Gulgoulyan, who through a series of misfortunes was deprived of his family, house and $53,000. Today, Mr. H. Panosyan, who heads the second division of the Control Services, met with Gulgoulyan and asked him to present whatever paperwork he had pertaining to the case. It appears that attorneys at the Public Council have found merit with the unlucky citizen’s attempt to get the Court of Cassation to review his case after many years of floundering within the Armenian judicial system without satisfactory resolution.
