Yesterday a group of youth dressed in white tee shirts and carrying colourful placards took up positions at varying sites in downtown Yerevan to publicize the upcoming "One woman-one world" photographic competition. The participants of the ‘flash mob’ action were to be seen assembled in front of Cinema Moskva, along Northern Boulevard and at the Cascade. Hetq is helping spread the word regarding the context and we will provide results on April 7, when the exhibit of the winners will be displayed in Lovers Park on Baghramyan Avenue. The exhibition will then be transferred to the Narekatsi Gallery space. Readers should note that April 4 is the deadline for the submission photos. On-line voting will then take plave and a jury of professionals will offer their opinions. All submissions must creatively depict women actively participating in some aspect of societal life.
