International Conference on Caucasus Takes Place in Scotland

On April 16-17, an international conference entitled "The Caucasus: Imagining Freedom , Negotiating Dominion, took place at St. Andrews University in Scotland. In attendance were ambassadors from Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia in addition to regional specialists. Armenia’s Ambassador to Great Britain, Vahe Gabrielyan, talked about the foreign policy challenges facing Armenia, the Karabakh conflict, Turkish-Armenian relations and the Armenian Genocide. He stated that the normalization process of Turkish-Armenian relations could not be linked to relations with a third country and that the historical reality of the Genocide was not open to debate.
